The Bosch RF3401E Wireless Reed Switch can be easily added to any Bosch Solution Wireless Alarm System (Sold Here) if you know the installer code of the security system that is supplied with all new systems. These sensors are used to detect the motion of moving doors, windows and roller shutters. This sensor can also be used as a Universal Device as it has a Hardwired Sensor input that can be selected instead of the reed switch portion of the device. This Input can then be used to monitor any type of contact style switch for many purposes.
